Regardless, the majority of people love their pup and want to make sure they’re safe in their new home, which is why today’s post is about puppies and puppy pickets.

If you haven’t already figured it out, puppy pickets are a style of aluminum fencing but why are they used?

The reason for puppy pickets

What is different about this style of fence?

The normal aluminum fences we offer consist of 15, 5/8” X 5/8” pickets spaced 3 7/8” apart. Each section is 72” wide and 48” measuring from the top of the fence to the ground.

With puppy pickets, a lower section of the fence is replaced with pickets that are closely spaced at 1 5/8”. This creates a much smaller area for your pup to slip between and prevents accidental escapes.

Why not go with a vinyl or wood fence?

This question is something that has to be answered by each individual person. The vinyl, wood, composite and aluminum fences that we offer will all be top quality and last a lifetime, but the answer to this question boils down to personal preference. Puppy picket aluminum fences offer the classic design of your traditional iron fences at a lower cost and provide better security for your beloved pets. Our other fence options provide the same but with an alternative style.
