Outdoor Living & Fence Sales Account Manager

Position Summary

The Outdoor Living & Fence Sales Account Manager is responsible for selling Fencing Projects and complete Outdoor Living Projects such as; Outdoor Kitchens, Screen Rooms, Custom Patios, Pool Decks & Walkways. This candidate will be the lead salesperson contacting potential customers and assisting them in designing their outdoor space, establishing a working budget, developing the cost model of the project, and ultimately selling the package to the customer.

  • Must be vibrant, enthusiastic, and have a strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent mathematical and measuring skills
  • Ability to interpret land surveys and create takeoffs with accurate dimensions
  • Must be creative and have the ability to design outdoor patio & backyard packages supplying furnishing ideas, colors, and create the best look possible within the customers budget
  • Must have diligent follow up skills and the highest level of professionalism
  • Ability to start and complete task within a set time limit
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Dependable transportation to allow themselves to be at work on time and prompt

Additional Responsibilities

  • This position will require travel in Polk, Hillsborough and Pasco Counties with some appointments set for as late as 6pm
  • This person is required to arrive at scheduled appointments on time and be prepared with materials for presentation
  • Must be will groomed and presentable for all customer appointments
  • Work trade shows, local events & attend evening network functions as needed
  • Position will require data entry & daily account updates

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of the construction trade
  • Proficient in Sketchup Pro or comparable 3D design software a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Word and Excel
  • Proficient with CRM Database software
  • Valid Florida Drivers License
  • Bilingual a plus
