Qualifications
  • Mechanical background
  • CAD experience
  • Create Bill Of Materials (BOM)
  • Ability to construct finished product from CAD drawings
  • Knowledge of EH & S regulations a plus
Responsibilities
  • Review plans & drawings for welding shop
  • Review CAD drawings as required
  • Create & review material purchasing orders for gates & products
  • Coordinate with Installation department on completion dates & dates for installation
  • Schedule production in welding shop
  • Meet with management & department heads as required to keep them informed of production, scheduling and any alterations made to the schedule
  • Meet with and assist installation crew on-site for custom jobs as required
  • Supervision of the welding shop and it's personnel
  • Direct supervision of all construction of any product to be built, fabricated, reconstructed, finishing and/or otherwise altered by the gate shop
  • Document & record the construction of any & all products built in the welding shop with tools available
  • Document records and inventory list to maintain a minimum of three (3) weeks of stock on hand at all times and insuring that materials are re-stocked as required
  • Provide maximum protection for the care and protection of all products from weathering and other damage
  • Create a Bill of Material (BOM) for any and all custom orders and ensuring of its attachment to its product
  • Maintain an inventory of any and all Alumi-Guard products, ensuring the protection of the products
  • Follow a schedule for production for all orders to insure that all projects are completed in a timely fashion
  • Establish and keep production reports including time sheets for any and all activities taken place as a function of the welding shop operations
  • Any and all orders received by the welding shop will require an immediate review by the appropriate management reviewer
  • Supervises the activities of the production personnel engaged in all facets of the manufacturing function
  • Responsbile for the development and implementatin of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, qualitiy and cost objectives
  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and material supply
  • Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
  • Understanding of basic technology of area where assigned
  • Must be hands on and mechanically inclined
  • Directing employee activities that insure quality, safety and production goals
  • Responsible for production goals and continuous improvement objects are met and exceeded
  • Identify, analyze and resolve various manufacturing process related problems
  • Achieving customer service satisfaction by creating appropriate quanity and quality of our product to support demand
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to meet deadlines and manage mulitiple demands and changing priorities

Compensation
  • Salary - $30,000-$40,000 depending upon experience
